Northshore Auto Repair: A family affair.
Hi,
 I'm Joe Rusich, founder and owner of Northshore Automotive Repair, LLC. My auto repair shop has been servicing both foreign and domestic automobiles for over 25 years. I've been fixing cars for as long as I can remember. My fondest memories of high school include hanging out under the hood of a car during shop class. After my wife and I married in 1979, I worked for various repair shops as an auto mechanic but my real dream was to open my own automotive service shop.
I finally achieved this dream when I opened Mandeville Auto Repair in old Mandeville around 25 years ago. I used to bring my daughter to my shop and let her help out by loosening lug nuts or getting tools for me with the hopes that she would learn to love cars as much as I do. After many years in our first Mandeville location, my wife and I had our second child, a son, who unfortunately had both physical and mental ailments. At that point I decided to work from home to provide support to my wife and children.
As my children grew and became more independent, I opened a new shop in Mandeville where my loyal customer base came to patron me regularly. We had great success in our Mandeville location and as the business grew so did our need for a bigger and better location. My wife and I found a great spot for our new repair shop, Northshore Engine Exchange and Repair (now Northshore Automotive Repair), on Hwy 190 in Covington where we have continued to provide automotive maintenance and repair work to people of the Northshore for the last 13 years.
Northshore Auto Repair is truly a family owned and operated business. My wife completely handles the administrative side of the business. My daughter has grown and moved away to lead her own successful life of which we couldn't be prouder, but if she's home, she's always helping out wherever she can. My son is a student at Fontainebleau High School but during the summer he's often seen around my shop offering a hand. Most of my employees through the years have been family members including brothers and nephews. My family has helped me live out my dream.

We only offer high-quality parts and auto repair services. And we'll give them to you at fair prices. Our long history of friendly, fast, expert automotive repair and maintenance has made us one of the top auto repair shops in the area.
